I would like to take
this opportunity to welcome you to Poynton Motorcycle Club website.
Our club has been running for 5 years.
We have around 100 members, the
youngest being twelve and the oldest being eighty two.
The bikes vary from a 1926 Scott through to cruisers,tourers,off roaders
and modern super bikes. We try to cater for every interest. We have
ride outs at weekends and some of our members are very keen on track
days and racing both in local clubs and British Superbikes Superstock.
All of our run outs are open to any bike and we make sure nobody is
left on their own.
We also have a very busy social side - we have tribute bands to raise
money for our nominated charity The North West Airambulance.
Every June we take a group to the Isle of Man TT (see the write up
in the Events section and there is also an annual trip to the Nurburgring
and WSB at Magny Cours if you want to go.

If you would like to join or just come and see what we do please come
to our meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at Poynton workmen's
club at 20.00. You will be made most welcome
In addition to our Ride-outs
the club organizes:
Coach trips to the NEC bike show
Trips to the Isle of Man TT.
Off-road, track days and Minimoto events.
The Xmas Toy Run for the Salvation Army
And anything else the members or committee can think of.
We publish a full colour
quarterly Club Magazine containing articles and stories written by
club members.
All this for a yearly
subscription of just 10 pounds- can't be bad!
