Ow Doo!
July's Sunday Ride-Out will be led by the enigmatic Phil Harold, affectionately known as Grimm.
There's a couple of important changes to this month's ride, the first being the date.
Due to the Footie World Cup final being played on the evening of what should have been the scheduled Ride-Out day, and that it could deter people from turning up for an all day ride, it was decided to move the Ride-Out to Sunday 18th July.
The second change is the start time. Normally the Ride-Outs leave the car park at the rear of the Workies at 10am, but as it's going to be a long ride, the departure time is now 8 a.m. (Looks like I'll be camping out in the Workies car park on Saturdayl!!!!). As usual though, club ride-out rules apply and all are welcome.
Phil's destination is Spurn Head near Hull. The route takes in the Humber Bridge (both ways) and will incur a toll of £1.20, (that's £2.40 in case you can't work it out!). There is also a £3.00 charge for riding down the sand bar at Spurn Head should you wish to do so.
If you will be attending please remember to ring the PMC Mobile (07554039795) and leave a message by 7am Sunday 18th July 2010.
