May 10, 2009  Rideout to Hartside Cafe - Cumbria- (Sunday)

Will be lead by Rob Dickman, and will depart from the car park behind the workies at 10.00 AM.

The plan is to have something to eat once there, so our arrival time back will be later than usual.

This destination is a favourite with bikers:

Please note: This rideout was scheduled for May 3 initially. It's been moved to the 10th.

Club Rideout Rules

Although club rules have already been posted on this website, I'd like to remind everyone of the following:

1. The speed limits for our rideouts are as posted for the roads we're using.

2. If you're going to overtake the rideout leader, or wish to make up your own route, please let the leader know before hand. That way, we don't end up waiting for you at a rendezvous point. This goes for making  your own way home at the end of the rideout, rather than meeting back at the car park behind the workies. We have no idea if you've just gone home, or if you've got bike trouble.

3. If you've got a bike with a short range tank, let the leader know. This assumes of course that you filled it up before arriving…

4. Filtering. It's practiced on our rideouts.

5. Try not to ride beyond your abilities to keep up with the leader. Traffic lights make it inevitable that some people will become separated. The leader will notify everyone of rendezvous points before hand, giving you a chance to catch up.

6. Finally, remember everyone's there to have some fun. All you need to bring, is two wheels and a sense of humour Smile
