Hi, i am a new member and new to this bike, the bike is a yamaha 225 serow 1989, i have owned this bike for 2 weeks everything was great until it would not start, on investigating found that the brushes in the starter were worn out, i have been on the computor for the last 4 days trying to locate brushes or a new starter be unable to locate either. so i am asking for your help to find them, hoping to hear from you , regards mick

Fowlers of Bristol are the best place for new replacement bits for Serows and another good place is Worlds End Motorcycles from Brigton, who have a web site but I have forgotten the address.  I have got parts from both in the past, I had a Serow for 7 years but sold it last November.  I have a set of pillion pegs and some carb bits you are welcome to but I won't be at the June metting but will be at the July one.
