Hi.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a qualified local bike technician that they trust and does quality work?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure of your location but M+W in Hyde look after all my bikes i would not trust anyone else with them, they also freely give advice that is invaluable, would recommend them to anybody.

I've used Paul (Pabs) at Kitts, he used to work for Carnells and others and recently (last October) started his own place, he is on the trading estate behind MacDonalds and Force 8 windows in Hazel Grove, he came recommended by Xtreme motorcycles (also in H-Grove) who used to be a part of Stockport motorcycle centre. He's fitted a few accessories for me and seems very approachable, capable and doesn't charge an arm & leg.

Speaking personally the only people I will allow anywhere near any of my bikes is Stockport Motorcycle Centre now Chris Barton's. (They came to the Jan or Feb meeting).
Kawasaki main dealers but quite happy to work on all types of bikes. (Except old snotters!)
They look after all of our 5 bikes and I have dealt with them for about 12 years……………proper bike shop.
If you use them mention my name………..Hamish.
PS Xtreme bikes were never part of Stockport Motorcycles………………they were set up by Owen who used to work at SMC as the parts guy.
Hope that helps
