One of our members (Ray Batt) has a daughter, Anna, who works for Rock Radio

At the moment Rock Radio are running a campaign with Christie Hospital to raise funds specifically for male cancers. As the majority of our members are men I though it would be good to sign up for this.

Rock Radio are asking people to Bring a Pound to Work as a way of contributing. Instead of bringing your £1 to work we thought you could bring a £1 to the next Club meeting on 5th Nov. There will be a collection bucket and some goodies.

As we are such a big club now and have so many male members there is a good chance we will be given the opportunity to go on the radio and promote the club - as well as helping out a good cause.
