I'll be there. Drew Melia; 1994 Moto Guzzi California III, 1064cc 90-deg vee twin, shaft drive, no mods. If we're parading, I'll participate in that too, help out on the stand and, do you need any help the night before?

Best Regards

Keith, I will probably turn up on the Serow, as I can only ride one at a time.  It has an encapsulated card giving full details, which I will bring with me, as usual.

Check out the Poynton Show official website for full details- including a very interesting sounding “Novelty Pet Show!”  I did copy and paste the poster on here but it was so big it encroached on the whole forum!

I'll be there on the 03 plated TDM 900 Keith. You can guarantee it'll rain if I brought the Dragstar! Laughing

Sadly, I can't make it. Filtering past a line of traffic inWimslow yesterday, a nice man in a mondeo decided to “give me the day off work”, pulled out of the queue right in front of me…wet road, on the white lines…. You can guess the rest… and the bugger drove off! Anyway, I'm OK… bit bruised, and the bike is fixable - thank god for crash bars - but not in time for the show. Sorry.

Sorry to hear of your spill. Hope you and the bike get well soon.

Took the Kwak 400 to the show this year as the Monster is still sick. Had a great day thanks to the usual 'hands on members' (you know who you are) doing the cooking, putting up the stand, commentating in the ring, etc.

Thanks all,

Robot

Well what a turn out, and you all arrived on time and passed the washed behind the ears test. What can I say, thanks to you all for the effort made it was a great day and all the feedback was good (as expected). The rain tried and gave up, super, the other entrants had lots going on, everyone was very busy. A special mention to those of you who also displayed your wares around the showground ring, some twice.

The stars of the day Sarah and Ruth were definately our sooper trooper girls of the ring who not only kept the crowds entertained on their mike's but dodged all the Kami Kazi pilots frequently riding at or into them. They not only peiced it all together, kept the crowds informed of who was riding exactly what, for how many years, their stable of bikes and pedigree they, added their own fun and glamour to the delighted crowd.

APPEAL:   Will the rider who drove off with Lady Spectator please return her soon, her husband and 5 children are all not pleased they do not know where she has put the housekeeping money.

The Vintage car club next to our display were pleased we were able to help in their hour of need with the Boss's car that would not start, all fixed on the day. They have given details of their next Day-Out adventure inviting all our P.M.C. Members which I will add details to another thread later.

Anyway looking forward to next year if anyone would like to book a slot let me know and those who mentioned the Smoke, Pyrotechnics and Stunt riders give me a call so a practice session can be arranged.

Well Done P.M.C.

Must say thanks to all those doer's on the Barbie, Fiona & her Team. Those looking after the stand and all of our New Member enquiries, down to Sarah. All those who set up the Tee Pee's on the Friday and to Paul for Marshaling everyone off site (Health & Safety).

Spot on to all those who turned up and made the event a great day.

Well Done Everyone!!!
