Thought I would get my “Run Out” in early this year.
I'm sure a lot of members have heard of Maxton Suspension?
For those that have not . Maxton are purveyors of TOP quality suspension for teams in British Sport, British Super Bikes (Red Viper Honda), and a number of road racing teams at such events as the TT & NW200 Etc.
They were originaly set up by Ron Williams who amongst other things ,in effect taught HRC at Moto GP level how to set their bikes up, as well as working with people like Rocket Ron Haslem when he was at Norton. Etc Etc.
Anyway their workshop (More of a lab really), is based near Warrington , and when I had some work done last year, Richard at Maxton said it may be possible for us to visit as a bike club. (They can get very busy at certian times of the year).
The premises are not massive so I would reckon on a max of 10 people.
Maybe do the run out May time?
Anyway if your interested please reply to this posting and I will make the necessary arrangements with Maxton and our ride out Big Cheese Ben. (First come first served)

I have a Maxton Rear Shock on my Honda CBF1000 and it is a vast improvement to the OE Honda unit and though I know where the factory is I have never been round it and would like to, so count me in

Sounds good H.
I'm in the process of getting the calendar filled for 2010. I should have something to publish by the end of January.
Sent you a mail asking about dates.

Why is that Mr H.
If Keith is tagging along and you’ve got to cut down to five because of that - it must mean…. you are buying breakfast for everyone
Full English and two rounds of toast for me please. Ta.
Oh, and a pot of tea. Thank you ever so much.

Hmmm. Didn’t realise.
Should have really…
It’s that pinched, southern softiness I forgot to take into account when assessing you as a potential acquaintance.
Does that also mean I can’t have black pudding with my brekkie? Or gravy on my chips?

Been in touch with Richard at Maxton's.
Looking like visit will be in June due to their work load for the TT.
I will assume all registered people are still interested unless I hear otherwise!
Will update this page when final date/time agreed.

Don't worry though I will post on this thread when arranged and I'm sure the ride out Big Cheese “Ben” will also post in ride out section.

Right.
Fellow warriors of the road.
Time for Bike Porn!
Maxton's have given us date. (They are mega busy).
Saturday 10th July.
Arrive 9am - Leave approx 12.30.
Bring sandwich's or if you have a large top box maybe some sort of stew would be in order?
I will post actual details nearer the time.
Ben. Could you update the Ride Out part of the website?

Knowing your predilection for fine dining and superb cuisine I thouhgt it might be a good idea to bring this along on the Maxton visit (I assume that, although I haven’t requested a place, if I turned up in this - and with a suitable number of servants - my place would be guaranteed).
