in principle i think its a good idea, i have lots of cr@p to sell or give away,

would need to contact admin to see if it would increase there workload.?

however most members seem happy to use the forum as a bulletin board,

with few replys to posts and imo not enough banter.

you could also have a technical / problem section for anoraks like myself,

a “which takeaway” tread for the poynton people,

the bollington lads could marvel at new technologies like street lighting.

and the femail members could have a “shoes” thread.

apologies if ive omitted eneyone from this attempted whined up.

Tony, I have spent most of this weekend in Macc and witnessed youths still adorned in shell suits with fake gold chains, drinking bottles of Panda Cola.  I didn't even know you could still buy Panda Cola (or shell suits) must be a Macc thing!

Mark, speaking of takeaways I tried to buy a sandwich at 2pm yesterday in Macclesfield only to be told the kitchen was closed, so I drove round looking for anywhere that sold food.  Saw a lot of boarded up pubs and the best I could do was a microwaveable Rustler burger from an Asian shop that sold mainly White Lightning cider.  Anyway, at least he was still giving away Green Shield stamps and doing a roaring trade selling Esso Blue!

p.s. what about a “favourite porn sites” thread?

ian mate, rachel should have worded you, places exist without a 24-7 takeaway culture.

i was working in germany when the berlin wall came down, and was shocked and surprised

at how some east germans stood wide eyed in supermarkets in the realiseation they could

buy eneything they wanted, having never seen kiwi fruits or avacardos.

i expect a similar reaction in poyton, when since the demise of PAP (poynton against progress)

a nice new supermarket is to be built, draging you kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

youll be able to buy fresh fruit and veg without the need to wait for the man with the horse

and cart.! it mite even induce some to learn to cook.

and whats wrong with shell suits ? been looking at a nice carbon look one for best.

What do you mean ' You were working in Germany when the wall came down'?  I bet you were working there when it went up!
