I’d like to thank Paul for producing the clubmag and also his contributors, great read and very entertaining. On page 18, I came across ‘Caution long vehicle’ the way I understand the law about towing a broken down motorcycle, is as stated in the clubmag but also

A motorcycle may not

  • draw more than 1 trailer, carry any passengers in the trailer (unless it is towing a broken down motorcycle)
  • Draw a trailer with an unladen weight exceeding 254kg (unless it is towing a broken down motorcycle).
  • Learners cannot tow trailers.
  • The BMF has some more info http://www.bmf.co.uk/pages/bmf_main_pages.php?main_page_id=136

Now Eric’s got a ABSO, That refers to section 59b of the police reform act 2002 Vehicles used in manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2002/30/section/59  it’s worth a read but also remember you have to sign to get a ASBO.
