This Sunday Darley Moor (Near Ashbourne), are hosting their annual “Day of Champions” event.

In essence its a kind of lowish key racing event that this year is featuring riders such as John McGuiness, Ian Lougher,Michael Dunlop,Ryan Farquher, Christian Elkin Etc.

I went last year and it was a good relaxed  low key day, that gives you chance to get a bit closer to the racing than you do at BSB meetings etc.

Practice starts at 10am and the first race is at 12.

I went to this event last year with H and I can recommend it, there's loads of places to get a really good view of the racing, you can walk around teh paddock and get to meet a lot of the racers. Plus there are some good roads there and back.

For those of you that don't fancy Darley Moor but still want to get out and about don't forget that we are going to the bike museum at Bakewell this Sunday, leave the Workies at 10 as usual, I'm leading it so will be at Bakewell and not Darley.
